Google has become so unethical that even some of its own employees want nothing to do with it anymore. In the latest example of the company driving away valued workers, senior research scientist Jack Poulson has quit his job in protest of the company’s plans to launch a censored version of the Google search engine in China.

Last month, news emerged that Google was secretly working on a Chinese search app code-named Dragonfly for devices running Android. It removes any content that the Chinese government doesn’t want its people to see, such as that pertaining to free speech, human rights, democracy, and political dissidents. It will also see queries that have been deemed “sensitive” blacklisted entirely, meaning that no results whatsoever will turn up if people type in certain terms or phrases.

As part of the company’s research and machine intelligence department, Poulson was tasked with improving their search systems’ accuracy. He raised his concerns with his managers but ultimately decided that he couldn’t work for them any more in good conscience. He resigned at the end of last month, and he told The Intercept that at least four others have done the same.

He said that the plan was a violation of Google’s principles stating they will not design technologies “whose purpose contravenes widely accepted principles of international law and human rights.”

Not only was the censorship itself concerning, but he also had reservations about the fact that customer data would be hosted on the Chinese mainland, where the country’s security agencies would have access to it. Given what we know about what the Chinese government does to journalists and political activists it wants to silence, he’s right to be concerned about it.

Poulson told his bosses in his resignation letter: “I view our intent to capitulate to censorship and surveillance demands in exchange for access to the Chinese market as a forfeiture of our values and governmental negotiating position across the globe. There is an all-too-real possibility that other nations will attempt to leverage our actions in China in order to demand our compliance with their security demands.”

More than 1,000 employees concerned about company’s ethics

Poulson is hardly alone in his concerns. When the news of Dragonfly made its way throughout Google, there was a lot of protest within the company, with more than 1,400 employees signing a letter demanding the appointment of an ombudsman to assess the censorship plan’s “urgent moral and ethical issues.” They say they have a right to know what they’re working on. In other words, if Google is going to be carrying out unethical acts, they want no part of it.

Some of those who led the letter effort were also behind protests of the firm’s work with the American military to build AI systems that could identify objects like vehicles in drone footage. Those protests ultimately resulted in Google letting its military contract expire.

Google’s response to the Dragonfly letter? They cut off employees’ access to documents about the Chinese search engine and tightened rules so that employees working remotely can no longer livestream meetings on personal computers after a leak last month.

Earlier this month, the company’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, refused to show up for a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing during which he would have faced questions about the Chinese censorship. In addition, Google has ignored countless journalists’ questions about the plan.

Of course, this doesn’t come as much of a surprise from a company that has been a bit China-like itself, exerting its power to censor search results and YouTube videos when the topic at hand doesn’t serve its political agenda. As this behavior continues and employees grow increasingly wary of where the line will be drawn, there could well end up being a mass exodus.

This is a scandal so huge that it could blow all of the other Clinton scandals totally out of the water.  It is being alleged that 18 to 20 CIA sources were either killed or imprisoned in China from 2010 to 2012 because the Chinese were reading all of Hillary Clinton’s emails as soon as they were sent or received.  At the time, Clinton was using a private email server in conjunction with her duties as Secretary of State, and even though that was highly illegal Clinton was never charged with anything.  But now we have learned that a Chinese company had hacked Clinton’s private server and was getting all of her emails in real time.  That Chinese company was “part of an intelligence operation”, and that means that the Chinese government was also receiving all of Hillary Clinton’s emails.  During the exact timeframe when these hacked emails were being received by the Chinese, “18 to 20 CIA sources” were either killed or imprisoned by China.  It doesn’t take a genius to figure out how that happened.

Let’s break this down one step at a time.

We just learned that there is a Chinese company that claims that it successfully hacked Hillary Clinton’s private email server and has a copy “of every single email” that she either sent or received after the hacking took place…

A Chinese company that claims to have hacked Hillary Clinton’s private server reportedly has a copy of every single email the former presidential candidate sent and received afterward. The Chinese state-owned company inserted a code that forwarded all Hillary’s emails to them, and Donald Trump is already demanding that this is investigated.

According to reporting done by The Daily Caller, the Chinese state-owned firm operating in the Washington D.C. area wrote code that was then embedded in Hillary’s private server and generated a “courtesy copy” for almost all her emails. Those were then forwarded to the Chinese company.

This story was originally broken by the Daily Caller, and they also reported that this hacking was done “as part of an intelligence operation”…

A Chinese-owned company operating in the Washington, D.C., area hacked Hillary Clinton’s private server throughout her term as secretary of state and obtained nearly all her emails, two sources briefed on the matter told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

The Chinese firm obtained Clinton’s emails in real time as she sent and received communications and documents through her personal server, according to the sources, who said the hacking was conducted as part of an intelligence operation.

This means that China was literally “reading Clinton’s mail” whenever it was sent or received.

The pieces of the puzzle are really starting to come together.  Last month, U.S. Representative Louie Gohmert stated that the ICIG had discovered that nearly every single one of the emails on Hillary Clinton’s private email server had been sent to a “foreign entity”

The Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) found that virtually all of Clinton’s emails were sent to a “foreign entity,” Rep. Louie Gohmert, a Texas Republican, said at a July 12 House Committee on the Judiciary hearing. He did not reveal the entity’s identity, but said it was unrelated to Russia.

Now we know that the identity of that foreign entity was China.

Wow.

Hillary Clinton began serving as Secretary of State very early in 2009, and her final day as Secretary of State was February 1, 2013.

During that precise timeframe, “18 to 20 CIA sources” were either killed or imprisoned by the Chinese.  The following comes from Reuters

China killed or imprisoned 18 to 20 CIA sources from 2010 to 2012, hobbling U.S. spying operations in a massive intelligence breach whose origin has not been identified, the New York Times reported on Saturday.

Investigators remain divided over whether there was a spy within the Central Intelligence Agency who betrayed the sources or whether the Chinese hacked the CIA’s covert communications system, the newspaper reported, citing current and former U.S. officials.

The source of the intelligence breach is no longer a mystery.

It was Hillary Clinton.

Of those “18 to 20 CIA sources”, at least a dozen were put to death.  Here is more from Reuters

The Chinese killed at least a dozen people providing information to the CIA from 2010 through 2012, dismantling a network that was years in the making, the newspaper reported.

One was shot and killed in front of a government building in China, three officials told the Times, saying that was designed as a message to others about working with Washington.

This is the reason why we have a law that is supposed to prevent those that handle classified information from using email servers that are not secure.

People can end up dead when classified material is handled in a cavalier fashion, and that appears to be exactly what happened in this case.

But instead of being held accountable for this, Hillary Clinton will have a really good chance of winning the Democratic nomination if she decides to run again in 2020.

And if that happens, and if things don’t go well for President Trump the next couple of years, Clinton would likely be the next president of the United States.

Two sources that were briefed on the situation told The Daily Caller that a Chinese-owned business operating in the D.C. area penetrated Hillary Clinton’s private server and inserted code that forwarded copies of Clinton’s emails to the Chinese company in real time.

According to the sources,

The Chinese wrote code that was embedded in the server, which generated an instant “courtesy copy” for nearly all of her emails and forwarded them to the Chinese company.

At a July 12 House Committee on the Judiciary hearing, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) said the “Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) found that virtually all of Clinton’s emails were sent to a “foreign entity.” He did not reveal the entity’s identity, but said it was unrelated to Russia.”

The source also said that two ICIG officials, investigator Frank Rucker and attorney Janette McMillan, warned FBI official Peter Strzok and three others “repeatedly” about this, but they failed to act.

An “anomaly” had been discovered in early 2015. The source, a former intelligence official, told The Daily Caller:

“When [the ICIG] did a very deep dive, they found in the actual metadata — the data which is at the header and footer of all the emails — that a copy, a ‘courtesy copy,’ was being sent to a third party and that third party was a known Chinese public company that was involved in collecting intelligence for China,” the former intelligence officer told TheDCNF.

“The [the ICIG] believe that there was some level of phishing. But once they got into the server something was embedded,” he said. “The Chinese are notorious for embedding little surprises like this.”

They would not divulge the name of the Chinese company, but they did say it was a “front group” for the Chinese government.

Hillary’s spokesperson, as expected, refused to even entertain the possibility of foul play.

Anyway, in 2015, the “State Department IG, Steven Linick and then-ICIG I. Charles McCullough III “server in 2015. McCullough told Congress in July 2015 that her emails contained classified material.”

“IC IG was involved in the review of certain information drawn from the private email server,” an agency spokeswoman told The Daily Caller.

The two IGs asked the Department of Justice to investigate whether the classified information was compromised, according to a July 23, 2015, New York Times report based on unnamed senior government officials.

The FBI issued a referral to the Justice Department in July 2015. The bureau warned that classified information may have been disclosed to a foreign power or to one of its agents.

“FBIHQ, Counterespionage Section, is opening a full investigation based on specific articulated facts provided by an 811 referral from the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community, dated July 6, 2015 regarding the potential compromise of classified information,” a July 10, 2015, FBI memo stated.

An 811 referral informs the FBI of classified information that was potentially released to a foreign power or agent of a foreign power.

“This investigation is also designated a Sensitive Investigative Matter (SIM) due to a connection to a current public official, political appointee or candidate,” the memo stated.

Then-FBI Deputy Director Mark F. Giuliano sent a follow-up memo on July 21, 2015, to President Barack Obama’s deputy attorney general, Sally Yates, about two conversations he had with her about the criminal referral.

“On 13 July 2015 and 20 July 2015, I verbally advised you of a Section 811(c) referral from the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community received by the FBI on 06 July 2015. The referral addressed the mishandling of classified information on the personal e-mail account and electronic media of a former high-level us Government official,” according to the FBI memo, which was hand delivered to Yates.

The treasure trove of incriminating evidence that has accumulated over the last year makes it pretty hard for anyone to deny the deep state’s attempt to overturn Trump’s victory.

Just last week, Real Clear Investigation’s Paul Sperry, released a painstaking and fascinating review of the FBI’s casual treatment of the Clinton emails that turned up on Anthony Weiner’s laptop six weeks before the election. After dragging their feet, they finally performed a cursory review although most of the emails were not even looked at.

And now, if this report is true, it’s clear that Hillary’s “gross negligence” in handling classified information has compromised our national security. How about appointing a special counsel to investigate Hillary Clinton? At the very least, it might keep her from running again.
