There has been a very popular email message circulating around for some time now,
claiming certain members of government ignored and even protected terrorist involved
in 911. The claim in the e-mail is not only propaganda, but also a total fabrication, a lie!

We will break it down into the facts. This is to warn anyone that has or may receive this
message. The truth is always ready to be found, sometimes you have to look for it. It is
always a good idea to question everything and search for facts.

The contents of the mail are as follows. …… Keep in mind that it includes pictures of the
world trade centers in order to play on your emotions. …..

It was 1987!   At a lecture the other day they were playing an old news video of  Lt.Col.
Oliver North testifying at the Iran-Contra hearings during the Reagan  Administration.

There was Ollie in front o! f God and country getting  the third degree, but what he said
was stunning!

He was being drilled  by a senator; “Did you not recently spend close to $60,000 for a
home security  system?”

Ollie replied, “Yes, I did, Sir.”

The senator  continued, trying to get a laugh out of the audience, “Isn’t that just a  little
excessive?”

“No, sir,” continued Ollie.

“No? And why  not?” the senator asked.

“Because the lives of my family and I were  threatened, sir.”

“Threatened? By whom?” the senator questioned.

“By a terrorist, sir” Ollie answered.

“His name is Osama bin  Laden, sir” Ollie replied.

At this point the senator tried to repeat  the name, but couldn’t pronounce it, which most
people back then probably  couldn’t. A couple of people laughed at the attempt. Then
the senator  continued. Why are you so afraid of this man?” the senator asked.

“Because, sir, he is the most evil person alive that I know of”, Ollie  answered.

“And what do you recommend we do about him?” asked the senator.

“Well, sir, if it was up to me, I would recommend that an assassin  team be formed to
eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth.”

The senator disagreed with this approach, and that was all that was  shown of the clip.

By the way, that senator was  Al Gore!

Also:

Terrorist pilot Mohammad Atta  blew up a bus in Israel in  1986. The Israelis captured,
tried and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo  agreement with the Palestinians in 1993,
Israel had to agree to release  so-called “political prisoners.”

However, the Israelis would not  release any with blood on their hands, The American
President at the time,  Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher,
“insisted” that  all prisoners be released.

Thus Mohammad Atta was  freed and eventually thanked the US by flying an airplane
into Tower One of  the World Trade Center. This was reported by many of the American
TV networks  at the time that the terrorists were first identified.
It was censored in the US  from all later reports.

If you agree that the American public should be made aware of  this fact, pass this on. }
That’s the e-mail propaganda, it is almost convincing to those who don’t know any
better. Many have already taken it as truth and passed it around as truth.

What about the facts? Here they are.

Yes, it was 1987 and it did involve a Iran Contra hearing, But that is about the only truth
in this entire message. Oliver North testified about a home security system during a July
7, 1987 joint Senate-House hearing on the Iran-Contra investigation. The questioner
was not a senator, but committee counsel John Nields. Col. North testified the security
system was installed because threats were made on his life by terrorist Abu Nidal. Source

Al Gore was NOT involved, and neither was Bill Clinton or even Osama bin Laden. You

COMMITTEE COUNSEL, JOHN NIELDS, NOT A SENATOR WAS DOING THE
QUESTIONING.

The terrorist who supposedly threatened Oliver North was NOT USAMA BIN LADEN, IT
WAS ABU NIDAL (WHO WORKS FOR THE LIBYANS — NOT THE TALIBAN AND NOT IN
AFGHANISTAN).

These are the facts, and they are plenty enough to disprove this propaganda.

Stories like this are dangerous. People start this type of propaganda for one reason, lies
are told for one reason. Truth is the most hated and most censored thing in today’s
America. People who start lies like this should face criminal charges, but that is not
about to happen. When A lie is told, and exposed, we need to ask ourselves why? Who
stands to benefit from the lie? These lies are needed in order to hide truth. Lies are
already starting to rewrite history. By the looks of it, that e-mail had two objectives. 1) To
make light of the Iran Contra scandal. 2)To keep your mind focused on fear and away
from the facts of 911. It is true that a lot of the 911 footage has been censored from the
media. We need to ask why? Because the big bad wolf is so scary? Because the pro-
Clinton “liberal” media is against Bush? No! The fact is, Bush is the one who ordered the
censorship of most of the 911 footage. The media has been more biased for Bush than
against. Do you ever wonder why? What is the reason for censoring 911 footage? Who
has something to hide, and what is it they are hiding?

Those who start propaganda like this usually play on your emotions. They claim you
need to help spread the word for the memory of the victims of 911. If you want to honour
the victims, families and heroes of 911, do it by getting the facts. Don’t take something
for truth just because you think it is a reliable source. Research everything, question
everything. Never forget one important fact, if you are given a story or claim and it
causes you
to have questions, or even more questions, there is a reason. Truth is discovered by
facts. Facts leave no questions behind. Basic logic will usually expose truth, especially
when it comes to the events of 911. If the government is not involved in a cover up, then
why do so many people still have questions? Why are so many people still spreading
propaganda?

It’s funny that this person would try to link Iran Contra to 911, I urge you to do a little
research on that subject.

Here are a few more interesting facts that the author of this propaganda will likely not be
pointing out to you. ….

Throughout the 80’s Osama bin Laden was an asset to the United States government.
Some experts even believe that he was on the CIA payroll. 1979 the Soviet invasion of
Afghanistan caused a rise of Muslim guerrillas. Those Militants were supported by both
Pakistan and the United States governments. Throughout the 80’s Osama would
become the contact. Osama statrted an organization named Maktab al-Khadamat (MAK)
which was responsible for the financing, training and arms for the guerrillas. In 1990,
Osama declared Sadam as an enemy. These are just a few facts that are not pointed
out by the people who claim to feel so much sorrow for the victims of 911. The Osama
and United states link is there. The interesting part is the fact that leading members of
the United States government then, are some of the same leading members under G.W.
Bush. These facts alone do not prove anything, but they do raise some interesting
questions. However, the point is that these propagandists will hide and deny these facts
but expect you to believe their lies.
